A man was killed in a shootout following a brawl at a Phoenix business early Saturday morning, police mentionned.
The shooting took place at a business near 24th Avenue and Camelback Road around 5:30 a.m. in Phoenix police spokesperson Sgt. Said Maggie Cox.
Officers found a man with gunshot wounds, who was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Initial information was that there was a brawl before the shooting, Cox said.
The other man involved in the incident remained at the scene and was questioned by police, she said.
There were no outstanding suspects. Cox said more details would come later on Saturday.
At 7 a.m., the roadway in the 23rd Avenue and Camelback Road area was restricted, Cox said. It was not immediately clear how long the shutdown would last.
