According to Tekcapital, Innovative Eyewear has announced that it has licenced the renowned outdoor company Eddie Bauer for smart eyewear through a deal with Authentic Brands. Without revealing specific financial information, the corporation called the transaction a “multi-year, global licencing agreement.”
An investor in intellectual property with a base in London is Tekcapital. The company Innovative Eyewear creates and sells smart eyewear that keeps wearers linked to their digital lives. It does business as Lucyd and Nautica.
It stated that Authentic Brands is a New York-based worldwide platform for brand creation, marketing, and entertainment.
In order to create long-term value in the marketplace, Tekcapital continued, “Authentic combines strong brands with best-in-class partners and a worldwide network of operators, distributors, and retailers.”

Eddie Bauer’s line of smart eyewear is anticipated to debut in 2023.
