New York opens to hemp trade with regulations developed by help from Cortland Farm

CORTLAND, NY (WSYR-TV) – New York State is now accepting applications from companies seeking to operate as processors, retailers or distributors of cannabinoid hemp.

The State Department of Health has created a Cannabinoid Hemp Program to license cannabinoid hemp processors, distributors, and retailers. It also establishes quality control standards that all cannabinoid hemp products must meet, including manufacturing, packaging and labeling requirements, and laboratory testing.
