After 42 years as a family business, Gary and Karen Bocock of renowned Pataskala Dairy Hut are retiring and handing over to another couple who will carry on Hut’s legacy from April.
“This is probably the most difficult decision we have had to make,” Gary said in a recent telephone interview. “I am 66 years old. It’s one of those things. We were never going to be ready to retire from the Dairy Hut. It was the best thing that ever happened to me in my life. I got to know so many people. We have had so many great people working for us. This is one of those deals where you have to make a tough decision because your body is telling you it’s time.
