Democratic Representative Jim McGovern, chairman of the House Rules Committee, opened the House session this morning with some remarks on what happened on January 6 and the role of President Trump and his allies in pushing a crowd storming the Capitol.
The House is currently debating the rules governing the indictment article.
“On Wednesday, January 6, Congress gathered here to fulfill our constitutional duty, marking the victory of President-elect Biden and Vice-President-elect Harris after a free and fair election.
