Governor Edwards will announce whether the state will ease COVID public health restrictions at his 1 p.m. press conference Tuesday afternoon. All signs point to at least a limited lifting of the limitations, with the current public health order due to expire on Wednesday.
Public Affairs Research Council policy director Dr Steven Procopio said not only new positive cases were down, but also the percentage of positive tests and the total number of COVID-related hospitalizations. .
