The January 2021 PlayStation Plus games have been revealed, kicking off a whole new year for Sony’s subscription service. As has become the norm, users get one PS5 title alongside two PS4 games.
For starters, Maneater is the PS5 title for January. The Human Eating Shark Simulator is also on PS4, but it’s specifically the current version of the game.
On PS4, subscribers can look forward to Lara Croft’s dark adventure in Shadow of the Tomb Raider and the much if a bit boring action RPG Greedfall. Of course, these two games can also be played on PS5 thanks to the backward compatibility.
We really enjoyed Maneater and felt the improved presentation of the PS5 took him up a notch. Here’s what we had to say in our Maneater PS5 review: “If you had enough of the title on the PS4, there isn’t much to come back. However, if you’ve just jumped into the game now, this is the version you want. “
