WICHITA FALLS (KFDX / KJTL) – At North Texas State Hospital, more than 970 vaccines have been administered as part of the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District Immunization Clinic.
This clinic was appointment-based and was a partnership between the Health District, Wichita County Judge Woody Gossom, the public hospital and the community health center.
Health director Lou Kreidler said some people did not show up for their appointments.
Kreidler said the health district continues to make list calls to ensure all vaccines are used.
“The public hospital had worked collaboratively,” Kreidler said. “They have organized clinics for their employees and therefore have set up a great platform. So we were able to develop to make it work very well. “
Kreidler also said she hopes cases will continue to decline since the recent post-Christmas surge.
