NASHVILLE – The name of elusive political supplier Phoenix Solutions LLC does not appear in any campaign financial disclosure filed last year by the Republican House candidate from Tennessee and now Republican. Todd Warner of Chapel Hill in his District 92 race.
But the Times Free Press has learned that the New Mexico-based company later told a potential client that it made at least one political mailing for Warner, whose home and legislative office were among those searched by agents of the FBI in January as part of a still-probe to be specified.
A copy of the mailer shows he was paid for by the Warner campaign. While Warner said he spent $ 75,500 with a company calling itself Dixieland Strategies for unspecified “professional services”, his disclosure made no mention of Phoenix Solutions.
