She was the wife of the late John “Jack” Parker. Born in Fall River, MA she was the daughter of the late Conrad and Anna (Michaud) Durand who passed away when she was very young. She was raised by her oldest sister, Claire Lemelin and her husband Albert. She is the youngest and last surviving of 10 siblings Claire Lemelin, Raymond Durand, Cecile Loranger, Bernard Durand, Patricia Moulding, Richard Durand, Germaine Levesque, Jeannine Pasternak, Philias Durand.
Annette served in the U.S. Army from 1964 until her retirement as a Lieutenant Colonel. She was also an avid volunteer for the veterans in her local area providing assistance, rides, meals, and her time to provide assistance to her fellow service members. CLICK HERE FOR BREVARD COUNTY NEWS
A private service will be held at a later date in Melbourne, FL, and Fall River, MA.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews and so many special friends that she loved as her own family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to your favorite charity in her memory. Annette demonstrated an adoring and dedicated lifelong love for her pets, and there was plenty to go around.
