Revolut, a provider of digital banking services, is adding a cryptocurrency spending function that will let users utilise their cryptocurrency balance to make regular transactions using their Revolut card.
After a protracted wait for permission, Revolut’s new functionality became available after the U.K.-based company received registration from that nation’s Financial Conduct Authority to provide cryptocurrency services in the U.K.
According to a corporate notification, the service will be accessible beginning on November 1 and for a certain period of time, clients will also be able to earn 1% cash back on any cryptocurrency balances spent.
According to its website, the platform provides more than 20 million individual users with in-app trading of more than 30 different digital currencies.
