Leeds United’s Cody Drameh is being sought after by newly promoted Premier League teams Luton Town and Burnley, who are both prepared to open talks for a permanent move for the right-back. However, Leeds hope to convince Drameh to stay at Elland Road next season. American duo Tyler Adams and Brenden Aaronson are also up for discussion, with Manchester United tentatively linked to Adams in the past. Leeds may find it hard to keep hold of Adams, who is keen to continue playing at the highest level, while Aaronson’s contract contains a relegation clause which could make a move away from Elland Road easier.

Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumors on Sunday, June 4.

The future of Leeds United youngster Cody Drameh continues to bubble under the surface, a week after the right-back helped Luton Town secure their place in the Premier League with a victory in the play-off final. Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano claims that Luton, plus fellow top-flight newbies Burnley are both ‘prepared to open talks’ over a permanent move for the 21-year-old. He also adds that the club still hope to convince Drameh to stay at Elland Road next season, amid their lack of a head coach and ongoing takeover saga.

Drameh has enjoyed a successful Championship loan spell following last year’s stint with Cardiff City and has Luke Ayling and Rasmus Kristensen to compete with for the right-back role.

The future of American duo Tyler Adams and Brenden Aaronson has also been up for discussion this weekend. As covered by Football Insider, Leeds will find it ‘hard’ to keep hold of Adams with the player said to be keen to continue playing at the highest level after a positive first season in the Premier League. Manchester United have been tentatively linked in the past, with the report adding that sides in the Bundesliga are monitoring both Adams and his club and country teammate Aaronson.

It has been reported that Aaronson’s contract contains a relegation clause which means a move away from Elland Road could be more straightforward in his case.
