Alabama US Senator Tommy Tuberville should keep his mouth shut.
Shortly after his election, Tuberville misidentified the three branches of the US government. In an interview in November, Tuberville said: “Our government was not set up so that one group had all three branches of government – was not set up that way. You know, the House, the Senate and the executive.
In fact – and one would think a US senator would know – the three branches of US government are the executive, the legislature, and the judiciary.
In that same interview, Tuberville said that we fought in WWII to liberate Europe from socialism.
As most of us know, we fought World War II to free Europe from fascism. You know, kind of like a huge number of Republicans, including the twice impeached Donald Trump, would like to settle in the United States.
