ORLANDO, Florida – Mobile vaccination site took place on Saturday at the Masjid Al Hayy Mosque in Sanford.
The site helps deliver vaccines to other areas and communities in Seminole County.
Before entering the mosque, visitors took off their shoes or wore booties while waiting to receive their COVID-19 vaccine.
The Sanford Mosque has partnered with the Department of Health and the County Government to deliver results. They donated nearly 400 shots to the mobile vaccination site.
Emergency manager Alan Harris said it was part of their mission to reach out to everyone in the community.
