Senior Leadership First Team Attitude That Drives BB PC Girls Success |  KNIA KRLS radio

The Pella Christian Girls basketball team are on a three-game winning streak as they prepare for tomorrow night’s Tulip City Showdown with Pella. The first team attitude of its three seniors is one of the main reasons.

Allison Van Gorp is averaging 17.4 points and 11.8 rebounds per game for the Eagles 7-5. These are garish numbers, but they haven’t been easy as the senior center has faced consistent doubles and triples this season. She knows that when her teammates are at their best, she can be at her best.

“I think when our guards, especially Tuesday, Witz (Emma Witzenberg) really pulled up and hit a lot of punches. It really helps, as the defense has to come out and keep it more, so that makes things a lot easier on the inside.
