Residents and businesses in Larimer County affected by the fires from September 6 to November 5 can now apply for low-interest federal loans from the Small Business Administration.
Loans are available from the Small Business Administration [SBA] declaring the fires a disaster, and the SBA making assistance available in Larimer County. Businesses of all sizes and private non-profit organizations can borrow up to $ 2 million to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate, machinery and equipment, inventory and other business assets. The deadline to submit a claim for property damage is April 26, 2021. The deadline to submit a claim for economic damage is November 23, 2021.
