Rob Gough, the entrepreneur / actor behind the DOPE brand, purchased a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle # 311 PSA Mint 9 baseball card for $ 5.2 million, setting a new trading card sales record.

“I had dreamed of owning a 1952 Mickey Mantle Topps ever since I collected the cards,” Gough said in a statement. “This is the Mona Lisa of sports cards, and I looked for that high profile example, speaking to industry experts, dealers, auction houses and friends.
