We have more potential details of what the surface might be Laptop 4 or Surface Laptop 3+. A new Microsoft device has been spotted going through the Bluetooth.org certification by WinCentral. Certification shows the model numbers of a new Surface Laptop as well as the Surface Pro 7+.
Until recently, we would have assumed that any new surface Laptop would be called the surface Laptop 4, but with the recent release of the Surface Pro 7+, that new laptop could be the Surface Laptop 3+. The Surface Pro 7+ is aimed squarely at business users, and Microsoft will continue to sell the Surface Pro 7. If Microsoft decides to release a laptop in the same vein, it will likely be called Surface. Laptop 3+.
