Over the past few weeks, we’ve had a lot of discussion about whether it made sense for our kids to go back and play HS sports, and whether the time has finally come to move on – or ‘wait a little longer until everyone is. vaccinated – that I don’t want to forget the brave people who have returned to teaching in classrooms and the coaches who have returned to gyms and rinks.
To this end, I began to think. For these coaches in particular – especially those over 50 – they have all had to think long and hard about whether to come back this year.
The more I thought about it, the more I decided now was the time to hear from an experienced HS coach – someone who has spent a lot of time in the coaching trenches over the years and has returned in recent weeks to resume training. an HS program in our region. .
