Prescott underwent an MRI that showed no structural damage to his shoulder, which is welcome news for Dallas, its coaches and its fans. The Cowboys will re-evaluate Prescott’s shoulder on a day-to-day basis. “I felt some soreness when making certain throws today, and I really decided not to push things too far,” Prescott said after practice. “Better to be cautious and smart about it. I don’t see this as any kind of serious setback. We’ll treat it on a daily basis and I’ll be fine.”

The other QBs on Dallas’ depth chart: Ben DiNucci, Cooper Rush and Garrett Gilbert, who all took snaps in Prescott’s absence at practice. He signed a massive four-year, $160 million contract extension with Dallas this offseason.
