Once again, Duquesne’s men’s basketball team gave Dayton a game but were unable to maintain their pace in the second half, this time down 72-63 Wednesday night at the UD Arena.
“It’s clear that we currently have issues that we have to overcome,” said Duquesne coach Keith Dambrot. “We have scoring issues, we just don’t have enough pop. We kept Dayton at 43% which should be fair in the game to win and neither can we do free throws. There is nothing more deflating than missing free throws and we’ve been missing them pretty much all year round.
