HOUSTON (AP) – Houston Rockets released DeMarcus Cousins after just 25 years games.
Cousins was canceled this week after signing a $ 2.3 million contract with Houston during the offseason. He’s returned to the pitch this season after missing all of last season as he recovered from a torn Achilles tendon.
The Cousins, 30, averaged 9.6 points and 7.6 rebounds this season, playing in a reserve role.
The four-time All-Star averages 20.8 points and 10.7 rebounds over an 11-year career in which he also played with Sacramento, New Orleans and Golden State.
