Seattle Seahawks superfan Joel McHale has heard the rumors.
Seahawks star QB Russell Wilson wants a voice in franchise staff decisions and he’s tired of getting hit too hard. When asked if he was available in a possible trade, the eight-time Pro Bowler left the answer to the Seahawks front office.
Since Wilson publicly voiced his grievances, a third of the league has called about the possibility of involving the future Hall of Famer and Wilson has named four teams to his list of favorite destinations. The QB rumor mill is bubbling up.

The chances of Wilson landing at one of those destinations remain remote, but it’s something every “12th man” has had to consider in recent days, including Seattle-born McHale.
“I’m not worried about it,” McHale told TMZ Sports. “Well, that’s very speculative. I would be very sad. They have to erect statues of him for what he did for the city, but he hasn’t. I don’t think he’s leaving.
McHale has gushed about the fact that Wilson is one of the NFL’s elites and a beloved Seattle city legend, and he’s not wrong. He’s been the face of the franchise ever since more decade, winning eight Pro Bowls in nine seasons and bringing a Super Bowl to Seattle for the first time in 2014.
