NBA Rookie of the Year nominee LaMelo Ball was right in the middle of the action for the Hornets, and the 19-year-old didn’t smile as he drove to the basket late in the game against Draymond Green. The ball accidentally hit Green, who took a long time to get up on the field after the last buzzer.
The contact happens in basketball, obviously, and there was no bad intention on Ball’s part, but the rookie made sure to apologize to Green after the game and the two shared a few encouraging words.
