The Montoursville wrestling team concluded the Heartland-II Championship with a 58-3 victory over Loyalsock. Cole Yonkin posted a major 11-0 decision win at 172 pounds and Josiah Schans dropped to 152 for the Warriors. Branden Vincenzes won Loyalsock’s lone victory, a 9-4 to 132 decision.

Central Mountain won eight straight 113-160 pound fights to claim a 40-24 victory over Clearfield. Luke Simcox took a fall on Nolan Barr at 126 pounds and Griffin Walizer climbed two weight classes to get a drop to 152 for the Wildcats.

• The Jersey Shore women’s swimming team beat Towanda (84-53) and lost to Athens (80-72). The Bulldogs’ men’s swim team also beat Towanda (63-47) and lost to Athens (75-56).

Caleb Stemler won the 100 fly in 1: 16.06 and won the 100 return by 10 seconds. Meaghan Keegan won the 50 freestyle and the 400 freestyle. In the 400 freestyle, Keegan won over a minute.

• Taylor Rae Jones scored 16 points, Lateisha Peterson added 13 and Adelaide Schmitt scored 10 as Williamson beat Bucktail in women’s basketball, 45-34.
