Woodmen board dragons

Greenwood resisted a late charge to close the regular season with a 63-58 victory over New Palestine on Friday. Carter Campbell led a balanced attack with 15 points for the Woodmen (16-5), followed by Brock Kincaid with 14, Noah Apgar with 10 and Rasheed Elemikan with nine.

The Royals fail

Roncalli was beaten by Brébeuf, 50-48. Anthony Donahue led the Royals (8-13) with 16 points, while Carson Lyngh scored 12 points.

Franklin college

Volleyball falls in semi-HCAC

Franklin College was ejected from the HCAC tournament with a 25-17, 25-22, 25-23 semi-final loss at Mount St. Joseph on Friday night. The Grizzlies (10-6) were led by nine kills from Chloe Holder and seven each from Kyndall Boyll and Taylor Tatlock. Boyll and Allison Thompson had 15 digs each and Sofia Helton had 25 assists.
