PROVIDENCE, RI – Hailey Derosia finished with six points, four rebounds and one assist in the Keene State College women’s basketball team’s 51-47 loss to Rhode Island College in Saturday’s opener. .

The sophomore from Vernon, VT, scored 233 points, struck out 127 boards and added 59 dimes in her first season. She’s one of three Vermonters on the Owls list, along with Jordyn Burke of Bennington and Rylee Burgess of Rutland.

Keene State (0-1) will host UMass-Dartmouth on Saturday at noon.
