PSAC announces plans to return to play for spring sports


The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its plans for the spring sports season on Friday as the COVID-19 pandemic persists.

The PSAC does not have regular seasons or championship series for the fall or winter seasons. However, some winter sports teams competed independently of the conference.

“We are very happy to be able to implement our plans for this semester,” said Steve Murray, PSAC Commissioner. “Everyone in our member establishments has done an exceptional job of getting us to this point and we are all thrilled to get there. We will remain vigilant in the face of the circumstances of COVID-19 in our league and make the necessary changes, but for now we are very positive about the return to competition.

The PSAC spring season kicks off with softball on March 5th. Baseball will follow a week later with an opening game on March 12.
