Duquesne’s athletics department is getting a makeover.

On Wednesday morning, Duquesne revealed that their new look would be symbolized by a Lion accompanying the big D, which undoubtedly sparked a lot of conversation.

This change of look is the university’s latest attempt to modernize the athletics department. Last year, basketball programs changed uniforms, added LeBron James basketball shoes, and are finalizing the renovation of their new basketball arena, the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.
