Quincy Notre Dame quarterback Ike Wiley is a very happy and relieved young man at this time of “The Gem City”. This is because the caller of Signal Raider has finally come to one of the biggest decisions of his life. Wiley informed the world on Tuesday (via his Twitter account) that he has now verbally pledged to join the ranks of the Quincy University Hawks football program next season.
Wiley led the Raiders to the IHSA State Semifinals in 2019. During that campaign, Wiley finished the year with nearly 2,000 passing yards and 21 touchdown passes. Future CEO QU also had 4 rushing touchdowns last season en route to racking up 623 total rushing yards. The crafty 180-pounder has proven to be a very capable runner when taken out of the pocket or when called upon to perform pigskin on plays designed in the Raiders’ offensive playbook.
