Jake Benzinger has a second chance to make the National Football League roster.
The former offensive tackle from Mount Greylock High School and Wake Forest University has signed a reserve / future contract with the Indianapolis Colts. Reserve / Future contracts allow NFL teams to lock in a player not counting said player against the team’s 53-player limit before the rosters drop to 90 when the NFL New Year begins in March.
