HARRISBURG (KDKA) – The Pennsylvania Department of Health reports a two-day total of 3,573 new coronavirus cases and 26 additional deaths.

The total number of cases statewide since the start of the pandemic has risen to 933,270 since Saturday’s report, according to the state data.
There are 1,720 people across the state hospitalized with COVID-19 infections. Among the hospitalized, 374 patients are in intensive care. The state says the 14-day moving average hospitalization trend is 4,000 below its December high and is also now below last spring’s high.
The statewide positivity percentage for the past week has fallen to 6.3%. Also on Monday, Governor Tom Wolf relaxed collection limits and lifted out-of-state travel restrictions.
