Michigan restaurants and other businesses will be permitted to accommodate more bosses later this week, as Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is expected to announce changes to current restrictions this afternoon brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Starting Friday, businesses will allow up to 50 percent capacity indoors, with restaurant capacity being raised to 100 customers, according to the Detroit Free Press.
Whitmer has an update on the pandemic scheduled for 2 p.m. today.
The move comes after the resumption of in-person meals on February 1 at 25% capacity. This was ordered to remain in place until March 29.
