The Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority will receive more than $ 1 million in federal funding to support the development of affordable housing.
Senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine announced federal funding of more than $ 46 million, granted to 26 municipalities through the Social Housing Capital Fund of the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
