SWVA's Health Wagon Receives First Doses of COVID-19 Vaccine, Providing Drive-Thru Clinics |  WJHL

WISE COUNTY, Va. (WJHL) – The wait is over for health officials at the Health Wagon in Wise County, Va., As they have received their first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Dr Teresa Tyson, CEO and President of The Health Wagon, said she has received 100 doses of the Moderna vaccine and hopes to receive more weekly vaccine shipments.

The clinic plans to set up a drive-thru clinic for people waiting for these vaccines to arrive.

At the beginning of February, there was more more than 500 people on a waiting list for the vaccine, according to officials at The Health Wagon.
