A Celebration of Family September 30 at Arkansas Tech
Arkansas Tech University is gearing up for its annual Family Day on September 30. This cherished tradition brings together students, their families, and the larger ATU community for a day filled with food, football, and fun. From complimentary game tickets to a tailgating meal, there are plenty of activities planned to ensure a memorable experience for all.
Complimentary Game Tickets and Tailgating Meal
Guardians and family members of current ATU students will have the opportunity to pick up complimentary ATU Family Day football game tickets. These tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the ATU Parent and Family Relations tent in the tailgating area outside the stadium. Additionally, a complimentary tailgating meal will be provided for current ATU students, their guardians, and their family members. The meal will include delicious pulled pork sandwiches and sides, served on Centennial Plaza as part of the pre-game tailgating festivities.
Exciting Football Game and Performances
The highlight of the day will be the ATU Family Day football game between the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys and the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Rangers. Scheduled for a 6 p.m. kickoff at Simmons Bank Field, this game promises to be a thrilling match-up. The ATU marching band, known as “Arkansas’ Band of Distinction,” along with the ATU dance team and cheer team, will also be performing at the tailgate party and during the game, adding to the excitement and spirit of the event.
