Pava LaPere, CEO of Ecomap and founding member of the advisory board for the Simon Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Loyola University Maryland, has passed away.
LaPere was known for her accomplishments as a CEO and innovator, and for her commitment to Baltimore and the potential of technology and entrepreneurship.
The Loyola University Maryland community, along with the communities LaPere built at Ecomap and across the city, mourns the loss of a true star.
LaPere and her family will be remembered in the 11 a.m. Mass on Sunday, Oct. 8, in Alumni Memorial Chapel.

LaPere was widely recognized for her achievements as a CEO and her dedication to Baltimore’s technology and entrepreneurship sector. Her loss is deeply felt by the Loyola University Maryland community and the communities she touched through her work at Ecomap. A true inspiration and friend, LaPere will be remembered during the 11 a.m. Mass on Sunday, Oct. 8, in Alumni Memorial Chapel.
