Fidelity Investments’ EMoney Advisor claims to have launched Incentive, its client-driven financial and wellness planning app that was recently tested by six companies.
The incentive is now available for use by pension advisors, and the app can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play.
The tool – eMoney’s first mobile app – aims to educate a large audience on basic planning concepts and encourage behavior changes to help users achieve their goals.
The purpose of the app is to motivate participants to make incremental improvements by accessing basic financial pillars and rules of thumb, spending challenges, and relevant financial literacy topics.
Although the Incentive is “customer driven, it is always delivered by a financial professional,” Jess Liberi, eMoney product manager, said in a keynote address at the eMoney Summit in October.
