First Free PlayStation Plus Game Announced for April 2023

We’re not even halfway through March, but we already know one of April 2023’s free PlayStation Plus games. Behavior Interactive’s brand new Meet Your Maker game will be available on PS Plus from April 4. April, the day of launch of the game Meet Your Maker is the first release day bonus on PS Plus for a while, and unlike some previous products, it will be playable on both PS5 and PS4.

Meet Your Maker is called a “building and raiding game” by Behavior Interactive. It takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where the Earth is on the verge of total destruction. As Guardian of the Chimera, the only thing that matters now is the genetic material that you must collect and protect. To add to your resource stockpile, you must battle your way through labyrinthine outposts filled with all sorts of obstacles and enemies. Meet Your Maker is community-driven and dynamic, as the outposts you try to rob are built by other players. You control every aspect of your own outpost, from its general layout and traps to coordinating the movements of your outpost defenders. You can have more control over the finer details of traps by modifying them, and sentries have extras that can make them more dynamic.

Meet Your Maker’s building and raiding parts are played from a first-person perspective. When raiding, you’ll have three unique outfits to choose from: Ranged, Melee, and Defense. There is an arsenal of weapons and close-range weapons at your disposal.

Meet Your Maker can be played cooperatively with a friend. Two players can build and attack outposts side by side. After other players attempt to complete your outpost, you can watch their activity using the replay system. You can then use that data to go back and tinker with the outpost to your liking.

All levels of PS Plus subscribers will be able to claim Meet Your Maker throughout April. Assuming PlayStation doesn’t consider Meet Your Maker one of the few “bonus” freebies, it would take one of three spots in April’s PS Plus lineup. In the meantime, be sure to claim the March PlayStation Plus lineup, which includes Battlefield 2042, Minecraft Dungeons, and Code Vein.
