In this news, we discuss the Google One brings VPN for Android service, Pro Sessions for 2TB plan members.
Google One is offering a new VPN service for Android for its subscribers of 2TB and above, providing an additional layer of online protection by encrypting the device’s online traffic. It is in addition to other benefits for existing members included in Google One plans of 2TB and above.
“We already build advanced security into all of our products, and the VPN extends that security to encrypt all online traffic from your phone, no matter what app or browser you’re using,” Google wrote in an article by blog.
Integrated with the Google One app, it only takes one tap of the Google One Android app to activate the VPN. Google One plans start at 100GB ($ 1.99 / month), however, to access the VPN you need to be a member of the 2TB plan which starts at $ 9.99 per month or $ 99.99 per year.

So, if you are already a member of the Google One 2TB plan or higher, you will have access to the VPN at no additional cost. Members sharing the plan with family members (up to five additional people) can also activate the VPN on their own devices at no additional cost.
In addition, Google is rolling out “ business sessions by Google One ” with VPN support. With Pro sessions, members of the Google One 2TB + plan can schedule a personal online session with a Google expert on a wide range of topics at basic and advanced levels.
The VPN by Google One service will first arrive in the United States in the coming weeks via the Google One Android app and will expand to other regions and to iOS, Windows and Mac in the coming months. On the other hand, Pro sessions will be available in the coming weeks for all members of the 2TB plan in the US, UK and Canada.
