The Kremlin said Tuesday that an invitation by Tesla boss Elon Musk for President Vladimir Putin to chat with him on the social network Clubhouse had come to nothing and that Moscow had received no response after asking for more details.
Musk invited Putin to chat with him on Clubhouse last month, a proposal the Kremlin described as very interesting, although it said at the time that it needed to hear more details.
On Tuesday, however, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that they had received no reply and that the matter had probably been a misunderstanding.
Peskov said the matter was now probably closed.
