LiveRamp acquires a privacy-focused approach Tech Company data

LiveRamp has struck a deal to acquire Silicon Valley-based tech startup DataFleets for $ 68 million.

DataFleets has cloud-based technology that enables businesses to merge and analyze securely data in complete confidentiality. The acquisition is part of LiveRamp’s growing focus on data protective capabilities.

As part of the deal, which includes deemed equity and additional retention incentives, LiveRamp will join the 11-member DataFleets team.

Using DataFleets technology, LiveRamp will be able to open up new use cases and markets for them. data collaboration via its Safe Haven platform, launched last year. Safe Haven is a SaaS solution that facilitates security data partnerships so that companies can mix their data in a permission-based environment.

DataFleets technology will be fully integrated into Safe Haven by September of this year.
