The Resident Evil 4 remake is finally out, and Capcom celebrated by releasing a launch trailer. While the launch trailer itself is pretty standard, it also reveals the Mercenary mode release date, which is April 7.
The date arrives at the end of the trailer, but there are no further details. However, as Capcom previously stated, this score-based survival mode add-on will be free. There’s also more Resident Evil 4 content in the works as Capcom is adding something for PlayStation VR2 owners, but hasn’t yet said exactly what that entails. There was also a report that came out before the game was announced saying that Ada would have her own campaign. The report doesn’t say if it’s DLC, but since his chapter isn’t currently being remade, it will be DLC at this point if it does. The Dusk Golem insider, who has had accurate information about Resident Evil in the past, also tweeted that Ada’s Distinct Ways campaign will come later as DLC. Capcom hasn’t confirmed or denied any campaigns featuring Ada, but there are several parts of the Resident Evil 4 remake campaign that seem to point towards an Ada-themed expansion.
