OnePlus confirms Nord N100’s display supports 90Hz refresh rate

In this news, we discuss the OnePlus confirms Nord N100’s display supports 90Hz refresh rate.

OnePlus launched the Nord N10 and N100 smartphones a few weeks ago. Announced for some markets, both phones have been in short supply since launch. This is especially true for the Nord N100 which is slowly starting to find its way to buyers and the larger OnePlus fan community.

As the availability of the phone improved, we also found out that the phone does indeed offer some features that are not mentioned on the spec sheet. Case dot a 90Hz screen Despite being the most affordable phone from OnePlus to date, the phone packs a screen that can refresh to 90Hz. Interestingly, this is even after the official phone spec sheet shows. that it has a 60 Hz panel.

The information was shared by Android Authority, who after purchasing a unit of the OnePlus Nord N100 pointed out that it comes with a 90Hz refresh rate. Once this was made known to OnePlus, the company withdrew its earlier information about its 60Hz refresh rate and confirmed that the phone supports a 90Hz refresh rate.

As for the other specs of the Nord N100, it’s a low-end device, which is why it skims the specs a bit. The phone has a large 6.52 inch screen coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. Under the hood we have a Snapdragon 460 SoC with 4G support.

There’s a 13-megapixel main camera, sitting alongside two other lenses for portraits and macro shots. Again, there’s no built-in scanner and the phone relies on a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. For the battery, the phone has a large 5000mAh battery, but it can only be quickly charged up to 18W.

Along with the Nord N100, the company also launched N10. The OnePlus Nord N10 5G comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage which has been paired with a Snapdragon 690 SoC for solid performance. The phone brings with it a large 6.49 inch display which is also designed to operate at a 90Hz refresh rate. Interestingly, this screen is larger than that of the OnePlus Nord.

The phone has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, but no built-in reader. Other specs for the device include dual stereo speakers, which, again, was not included on the original Nord. The phone comes with a quad-camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel main camera, 119-degree ultra-wide, macro, and monochrome lens. For selfies, the phone gets a 16-megapixel camera.

OnePlus Nord N100 is the company’s most affordable smartphone to date.
