Thorough Training and Certification
The automotive technology students at Piedmont Technical College (PTC) have recently completed the rigorous EPA Section 609 Technician Training and Certification Program. This program ensures that these students are well-trained to meet the standards set by the EPA Clean Air Act when servicing motor vehicle air conditioning systems. With a passing score of 84% or higher, each student has demonstrated their knowledge and expertise in this field.

Upon successfully completing the program, each student received a wallet ID card and wall certificate as recognition of their achievement. The students’ dedication and hard work have paid off, as they have proven themselves capable of meeting the high standards set by the EPA.
