The South Korean tech giant is set to showcase some of its latest display technology at CES 2023 later this week, and one of those innovations will be a new breed of OLED displays for laptops. As part of the Disruptive Tech Journey Unlocks Sustainable Futures exhibition starting January 4th, Samsung has announced that it will showcase his Flex Hybrid. The screen combines both foldable and sliding functionality, which Samsung claims will be a “prototype for future laptops”. The foldable portion of this display is on the left and the slide technology is on the right.
This large screen appears in two variations of his next. One-way flex-sliding solos and two-way flex-sliding duets.
This opens up the possibility of using the screen as 10.5 inch 4. 3 displays or full 12.4 inch 16:10 screens. This Samsung Flex Hybrid appears to be in the prototype stage right now, and the company hasn’t said anything about products that might use the technology in the near future. do not let go. In addition to this foldable sliding screen, Samsung will showcase a larger sliding display that he unveiled at Intel Innovation 2022 in September. This screen can expand from a 13 or 14 inch form factor to a 17.3 inch form factor.
