Six Companies Are In Favor Of The Xbox ActiBlizz Acquisition

Today, there is more discussion about Activision Blizzard because more recent documents, including responses from Microsoft and Sony, have been made public by the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority.

The six companies that have backed the acquisition are the subject of some of the most intriguing new documents. The other five were submitted by developers and publishers anonymously. One of these is from 4J Studios, which has worked on numerous Xbox port projects, including Banjo-Kazooie and Perfect Dark in the past.

Then, some interesting remarks, hopefully they’ll help Microsoft close this deal with the CMA in the upcoming weeks. Currently, the regulator has until April 26, 2023, to make a decision.

On the website of the UK government, you can find all the most recent publicly available responses to the CMA. However, be forewarned that some of them are very lengthy.
