A report from the GSM arena confirmed that three out of six users who complained of overheating have received refunds and may get a personal response from Apple.
According to Apple Insider, the heating issue erupted above the display connector, between the Taptic Engine and Digital Crown. Some users even noticed a yellow spot on the screen due to overheating. However, it seems that the issue has only affected some users in South Korea and it could also have a lot to do with watches produced in the South Korean market.
Apple has yet to release an official statement on this unexpected issue.
Coming to the Apple Watch SE, this is the most affordable smartwatch Apple has ever sold. In India, the Apple Watch SE GPS sells for Rs 29,900 and $ 279 in the United States. While the LTE variant is available for Rs 33,900 in India and $ 329 in the US.
The Apple Watch SE is powered by the S5 processor which was also used in the 5 series smartwatches. This means that the Apple Watch SE would be as fast as the 5 series and almost two faster than the 3 series. smartwatch has speaker, microphone and support for Siri with walkie talkie via bluetooth 5.0 connection. A built-in GPS has also been installed on the smartwatch, which means it can support running and other training without having to iPhone connected consistently. However, the watch lacks some of the important features including the new blood oxygen level monitor and ECG which debuted on the 5 Series.
