Strategic latency released: the role of Technology in a Revisionist World Order and the Implications for Special Operations Forces

I just read a large collection of articles on the role of technology in national security (focused on special operations forces).

This book, entitled Strategic Latency Unleashed: The Role of Technology in a Revisionist World Order and the Implications for Special Operations Forces is long, but so well written it reads quickly. Each page of each chapter is easy to understand and very useful in trying to understand the future operating environment.

I highly recommend anyone interested in national security matters to read this book, you will find it very informative from your point of view.

Here is the official description of the book:

The world is changing physically and politically. Technology is the handmaiden of much of this change. But as the current sweep of global change is transforming the face of warfare, Special Operations Forces (SOF) must adapt to these circumstances. Fortunately, adaptation is part of SOF DNA. This book examines the changes affecting SOFs and offers possible solutions to the complexities that challenge many long-held assumptions. The chapters explore what has changed, what remains the same, and what it all means for US SOFs. The authors are a mix of leading experts in technology, business, policy, intelligence, and geopolitics, partnering with experienced Special Operators who either co-authored the chapters or edited them. reviewed to ensure accuracy and relevance to SOF. Our goal is to provide insight into the changes around us and generate ideas on how SOF can adapt and be successful in the emerging operating environment.
