A few months after ChatGPT brought generative AI to the attention of the general public, Google Cloud is now making a wide range of potent tools available to developers, organizations of all sizes, and the public sector so they can benefit from the extraordinary power of generative AI.
Every company in the Cloud Wars Top 10 including Google Cloud is vying to provide customers with extensible tools and services so they can start taking advantage of the mind-blowing power and potential of generative AI quickly, easily, and securely.
I think we’ll all look back on this time in early 2023 as one of those breathtaking, split-second transitions that forever alters our perceptions of what is possible and what is not, the function of enterprise technology in our personal and professional lives, and even the meaning of “creativity.”
Having said that, I don’t want to lead us into the maze of existentialism, but what Google Cloud and others are showing us suggests that the mind-blowing potential and impact of ChatGPT that we have all witnessed over the past few months is only a brief preview of what the nascent Generative AI revolution will bring.
In light of this, Google Cloud aims to empower many more users to easily and securely produce generative AI solutions and results. I have the impression that Google Cloud is investing a significant amount of resources in this project and will probably keep doing so throughout this crucial year.
